ASSIGNMENT
For my final project, I had to redesign a big company's logo. I was able to choose any big company I wanted. Along with the logo, I had to create a design for a business card, letterhead, and envelope. I also had to create a graphics manual on how everything should be used.

Babycakes by Tine Wahl

ASSIGNMENT
This was a project for the whole semester. I had to choose any company I liked and rebrand their whole system including logo, advertising, applications, and interactive media (iPhone). There needed to be an underlying key insight into the brand that served as the basis for all of our design decisions. We wrote out a creative brief with a target audience, business goal, etc. We also needed to create a user journey that showed how a customer might stumble upon our brand and find our iPhone app/website/etc useful and keep coming back.

ASSIGNMENT
The assignment was to choose a well-recognized brand and refresh its identity system. Final deliverables included the logo and a standards manual including 20+ applications of the identity in a variety of formats (environmental, consumer, multimedia etc.). Emphasis was placed on identifying the equity in the existing identity system and translating that into a refreshed identity system that could truly be the next generation of the brand.

ASSIGNMENT
This project involved reinventing and reviving a dying brand by extending the audience and type of products in new directions. Any brand could be chosen, as long as there was a clear need or possibility of reinterpretation and innovation.

Nordstrom by Eric Doctor

ASSIGNMENT
Final project for class: choose your own project, as long as it is more substantial than anything else you have previously done for a design class. I chose to redesign Nordstrom's visual identity and create a Paul Rand-esque case study booklet for presentation in class.
