Pablo Juncadella

Founding Partner and Creative Director

Mucho

Barcelona, Spain

Pablo Junacadella founded Mucho in 2003, with his partner Marc Català, after a period of 6 years working at Grafica (Barcelona) and Pentagram (London). During the first 3 years of Mucho, Juncadella and Català combined the art direction of the UK Newspaper “The observer” alongside their studio work. In 2006 they moved back to Barcelona, only focusing on the studio work. In 2011 Tilman Sole joined Mucho Barcelona, beginning a period of growth and taking Mucho’s sharing mentality to another level.

Nowadays Pablo is one of the 6 partners of Mucho, which has studios in 4 cities around the world: Barcelona, Newark, Paris and San Francisco. This allows him to take part in projects both locally and internationally, with his friends and partners.

Mucho’s spirit and interest in experimentation has led them to work with both small clients (Xocoa, Mother, Viewpoints) and multinational clients (Carolina Herrera, BMW, Random House Mondadori, Kodak, Hp, Grupo Catalana Occidente, W Hotels, Philip Morris), and to participate in cultural projects (Reina Sofia National Art Museum, Monumenta, Fundació Miró, OFFF Festival, Filmin).

Pablo’s work has been recognized internationally including 2 D&AD Yellow pencils in 2011 and 2013. He is teacher at EINA School of design and co director of the masters degree in design at ELISAVA. His work has been featured in some of the most prestigious publications and blogs, and has been a lecturer at AIGA, Typographic circle, and OFFF. He is member of AGI (Alliance Graphic International).
