With spring in the air and thoughts of warmer weather and time spent outdoors I wish to take you back to Christmas once more with this beautiful laser-cut card from Portugal.

This is a Christmas card for a governmental organization that improves economic and socio-cultural development and territorial qualification in Portugal — National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF). It is intended to be a metaphor about this organization’s line of work: supporting human potential, economic competitiveness factors and territorial enhancement. Though it’s simple in appearance, the cutting/folding design allows us to play with it, reconfigurating its form and its shadow.?

Complicated yet simple. Light and shadow playfully fighting to occupy the same space.
