Too much information can be overbearing, but when every detail needs to be included it is up to the designer to make it work—intelligently, with legibility and functionality in mind.

The main challenge of this project was the variety of information that needed to be included — group vs. solo shows, different durations and venues but common opening nights, a class of 4th-year students vs. 18 individual emerging artists, etc. The question was how to tie everything (and everyone) together, while simultaneously providing individuality. The result was a multi-functional perforated flyer/poster made up of four separate postcards — one for each opening night — that could be kept whole, or disconnected and distributed, thus providing each artist the option of having their own more specific promo material.
