It’s the subtle, clever quips that get me most. Ink did a great job of integrating their identity while tweaking it just enough to not seem overwhelming. The logo is used beautifully as a building block for the reindeer’s body, and the blind emboss gives the paper a soft, wintry feel. Temperatures are in the 90s outside, this flashback to winter keeps us cool.
Through blind-embossing techniques and minimal use of color as an accent, we played up the company’s logo by creating a twist to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Although the simplicity of the project kept the complications to a minimum, there were some concerns that the embossing details would get lost, but the printers were able to capture every detail.
