The universe aligned the stars just right for this celebration. An aluminum invitation carves the serendipitously sequential wedding date into one’s mind with waterjet precision. Warm colors embrace the metal plate, suggesting a bright future and solid commitment. The monogram-patterned envelope makes me want to pack my Louis duffle for the trip right now!

The creation of our wedding invitation began with the choice of our date. Choosing September 10, 2011 or Nine.Ten.Eleven. as we would refer to it, became the general theme for the piece. The location choice - Palm Springs,CA - gave us inspiration for the bright yellow color palette and the wedding title “A Celebration in the Desert”. The boutique hotel led us to match some of the interior design elements with a metal invitation. The monogram-ish logo created a fun pattern that graced the inside of the custom screenprinted envelope. These envelopes were sealed and perforated for a one time special opening to be enjoyed by our guests.
