Project Description

The clients were fans of minimalist design and their design brief was to design their wedding invitations in the similar fashion. The navy color was suggested by the couple themselves which made the whole project a straightforward mission. With the design being so minimal, I hope to bring out the look and feel of the design through letterpressing which immediately struck a cord with the couple. The envelope was also chosen in the same color to match the color theme. Unfortunately, the couple didn't go with the idea of a customized folder to safe-keep both the Save the Date and the Main Invitation due to financial constraints. Not to let the idea go to waste, I handmade the folder myself for documentation purposes.

Production Lesson(s)

In order to maintain an even inking on the card. The printer had to adjust his letterpressing pressure to suit all sizes of text on the card. The text will be faint if the pressure is too light or the text details will be lost if the pressure is too heavy.”
