Emily & Trent Wedding Invite

Emily Louisa Bird

Romstudio - helped with production in Mexico
OSL Design - consulted with the design and finishes

Hand screenprinted in Mexico

These captivatingly minimalist wedding invitations are high impact without the traditional wedding invitation frills. Weddings are celebrations often associated with opulence via superfluous ornamentation. However, in this case splendor takes the form of gilded edges, gold foil stamping, and screenprinted gradients—all fancy in their own rights and might tasty in this case.

Project Description

We wanted a wedding invite that reflected our wedding—simple, modern and fun. We wanted something that would stand out and make an impact.

Production Lesson(s)

This invite was an international collaboration—printed and foil stamped in Mexico, then laminated and guilded in Australia. We left plenty of time in the production schedule for this.”
