An interesting lesson to learn from this project: color correctness on clear material is trickier than you might think. Inks are designed to work on opaque—preferably white—backgrounds. So, when the background changes, or loses that opaque support the perceived ink color can change. It takes a good printer and a designer who pays very close attention at press checks to get it right.

A promotional book for JK& photographer Blaise Hayward. The envelope is clear with overprinted names of the small businesses featured in the book. The book features photographs of small businesses from all over the north east, particularly Brooklyn and NY.
