The texture created by foil and embossing along with the excellently-executed, ornate details raise the tactile sense of sophistication on these cards. Extra touches like these go a long way towards instilling a sense of luxury and quality.

Project Description

To coincide with an extensive rebranding effort for the luxury home furnishings maker, Stanley Furniture, MODE developed invitations to their flagship showroom grand openings and brand launch parties. The goal was to re-introduce an organization with decades of heritage as a fresh, new and exciting gateway to luxury. The invitations were to be the first impression of the "new" Stanley to the company's most important and influential audience, a hand-selected group of highly respected interior designers and retailers. They had to capture the exquisite and thoughtfully detailed nature of the product, the new showrooms and the events themselves which were held on both coasts, in Las Vegas and High Point, North Carolina.

Production Lesson(s)

We explored the relationship between the width of stroke within the design and the depth of emboss impression. The thinner strokes with deep impressions, depending on stock, may cut through the paper.”
