Project Description

As part of the Husky Stadium $280 million renovation, four brand new areas of luxury seating were added: Patio Suites, Luxury Suites, Touchdown Terrace, and Sky Suites. Ticketing for these areas needed to be effective for the customer service staff from a functional stand point and also needed to have a luxurious look and feel from a fan perspective. The suites range in seating from 4 seats to 22 seats and the packaging needed to suffice for all quantities.

Production Lesson(s)

We faced three main challenges. Our first challenge was the age-old tale of marrying form and function. How could we not only make the ticket functional from a ticketing/scanning perspective, but also how could we make the ticket look and feel luxurious for our guests as they wear them around their neck at games? By keeping the design clean and simple with a strong image and limited typography other than the essentials, we were able to achieve this goal. Second, we needed to make the different tickets fit within a system but be unique enough for the customer service team to differentiate which guests were allowed in which premium spaces. With use of color gold foil, the customer service team could easily tell the tickets apart. Third, we were faced with how to make packaging that fit a range of 4-22 tickets. Since a set of 22 tickets is much wider than a set of 4, we created two different sizes of the custom foam insert. One had seven large slots to fit 18-22 tickets and the other seven smaller slots to fit 4-6 tickets.”
