Project Description

DSTILL, Denver's annual American craft spirit week, was invited by the Colorado Tourism Office to participate in their annual media appreciation event. DSTILL had the opportunity to contribute to a gift bag where they would compete with other typical media objects - postcards, stickers, brochures, etc. To stand out I wanted to create something elegant and bold while still being an educational piece on the coming week of DSTILL events.  The gift was aimed to inspire journalists to write about the DSTILL event to expand both local and regional coverage.

Production Lesson(s)

This project turned into a huge rush job. Knowing your printer well and being clear with needs in communication is KEY! Foils & Dies is a very professional Letterpress printer in Denver. Their creativity matched the creativity of the piece and were the sole reason why the project was a success. Neenah Paper was also amazing in getting all samples and paper to us immediately and sponsored the project because of their interest in the creativity of the piece.”
