Project Description

Even though Ipiranga would position itself as a premium brand, other aspects were to be taken under consideration regarding their audience—composed mainly of farmers and agronomists: it had to be a brand that is close, simple and considered a partner by the clients. The special finishing of the brochure promoted a sensuous experience and the new format and sleek layout fit perfectly with the company's image. Besides that, the special cut provided an element of surprise, since it could only be fully perceived once the brochure was opened. The symbol actually translates the whole company's positioning and its tagline: 'for those who want more', as in 'for those who want more quality', 'for those who want more productivity', etc.

Production Lesson(s)

One important lesson learned is to detail as much as possible the demands and particularities of each project so that the printer knows exactly what to do and the production process goes as smoothly as possible. That was what happened in this case, the project was highly detailed before it went to press and we had no problems at all, even with such intricate work.”
