Project Description

The Fresh News is a response to a joint brief by Facebook and a London based coffee delivery service Pact Coffee. The task was to motivate Facebook users to try home-delivered coffee by letting them experience both services in a new way.

In the times when Facebook has become the main source of information, every cup of our morning coffee is drunk while checking friend's updates. But our online life leaves us no chance to enjoy moments of delight with the first cup of coffee.

We want to bring back a centuries-long tradition of starting a day with a cup of coffee and fresh news. Just like your coffee is roasted, the Facebook newspaper is generated right before the delivery and is based on your personal taste and preferences. As a result, Pact coffee will bring a unique flavour to your news feed.

Production Lesson(s)

It was a great experience of connecting digital and print media.”
