Project Description

During this festive season, we created a special card to celebrate Christmas with all our working partners, our friends and family. We wanted to create something that you can spend some time with so we came up with an idea of a simple puzzle to piece your own Christmas together.

There are three arrangements to the puzzle. The first puzzle is the original card in geometric shapes and Christmas colors. The second puzzle, (when arranged vertically) reveals the profile view of a Santa Claus. Finally when the pieces are flipped, it reveals a quote reminding us that “Christmas is the day that holds all time together.”

Production Lesson(s)

Through this project, we learn the limitation of die-cutting certain shapes for this irregular shape puzzle. We need to keep a conscious mind when designing to not create shapes that are too sharp and narrow because the edges can easily be bent.     ”
