Just about anything looks good if you add a beautifully crafted skull on it—at least it works for me. But artwork aside I am really drawn by this packaging that uses the color of the product to highlight the branding on the bottle. Now, just bring me some tacos please.

Project Description

MEXICO Food & Liquor launched their very own range of hot sauces, each with a distinctive flavour profile created by Executive Chef Javier Carmona. The packaging solution was designed to present the MEXICO brand in a unique and identifiable way, while maintaining the restaurant chain’€™s non-corporate, subtle feel.

Production Lesson(s)

One of the biggest challenges was working to get the detailed emboss pattern on the exterior to line up with the printed pattern on the interior—it presented challenges in file setup, and equally in production. It was also a big technical undertaking to design a box that size with embossing on every surface except the base, while still maintaining the functionality of the packaging as a secure, protective element for the glass bottles.”
