We got a copy of this book back in December and I was immediately intrigued by the premise. Needless to say the content is great, and the production flawless. It comes as no surprise to find it is sold out.

Project Description

When our company moved to a new office space, we knew we wanted to find a way to get to know our neighbors and give back to the community. 'From Eat Street, with Love' was our way of introducing ourselves to one of the most flavorful neighborhoods in the Midwest. “€œEat Street” —€” as we call it here in Minneapolis —€” is a unique stretch of 17 blocks on the south side of Nicollet Avenue. This book is a collection of stories and recipes from 15 restaurants and their owners along Nicollet that celebrates the food and traditions that bring us together. Proceeds from the book will be donated to our local neighborhood business association.

Production Lesson(s)

Our book cover changed from a light blush to red after our first printed proof because the soft-white cover stock altered the blush color just enough so that it did not match the interior pages. ”
