Speak Up Downtime for Uptime

Speak Up’s Web Development Team (me) in conjunction with the Information Architecture Group (me) and the Creative Services Division (me) has been hard at work for the past three months updating and restructuring the site. Come Monday, February 2nd an updated version of Speak Up will be in effect. For that, it will have to go off-line from Sunday night until Monday afternoonish.

Thank you for your patience and your patronage.

Sincerely,

Me.

One of these is close to my heart :D but that’s not why I mention it. Tons of great sites to waste countless hours on: SXSW Web Awards Finalists.

Along with the above, I would suggest Everything Is Dumb. Plenty of ways to waste time (though I'm putting it through a slight redesign, too).

Armin, we all appreciate your hard work. Thanks for all the dedicated effort. Without you and this site, we'd have to go elsewhere to share our design ideals and voices.

God Brook -- I wet myself happy much on that site. Thanks for the best link I've seen in a while. Made my Friday.

Armin -- you better get this thing up and going Monday morning if you know what's good for you. And it'd better be worth the aggravation dammit.

I'm sure DO didn't have to go down over the weekend for a "restructuring". Hmph.

Well Tan, it isn't that hard to take care of a default MovableType template...

What??!! DO is just an MT template? I'm shocked -- considering all of the "design brain power" behind that site. I guess that just goes to show that there's more to making a good blog than just big names and big words, eh?

Happy restructuring bro.
