If you have doubts about your qualifications, understand that going back to school will satisfy your hunger for design, but it could also set you back professionally by being out of the design community for an extended period of time. Moods will shift and things will change. You will be captivated by Apple’s latest hardware, but make sure you purchase AppleCare.

Scorpio OCTOBER 24 – NOVEMBER 22 Clean your studio and clear your mind. Doing so will allow you to gain a new perspective on your design decisions, and may reveal personal projects that have been sitting under your piles of paper and CDs. When considering some new software, research the pluses and  minuses. Your lack of consideration may cause you to regret the decision later, like when you bought the TiBook on sale before new PowerBooks came out.

Aquarius JANUARY 21 – FEBRUARY 19 If your co-workers seem more adept at InDesign than you are, let it pass. Trust your insight, and have confidence in your abilities with Freehand and Quark. You already know their quick keys. When you see an opportunity to advance your career, jump on it, but wait until the 12th to commit. Your strong-heart will enable you to win over all client presentations this month, freeing yourself of tiresome revisions that would cost the client thousands of dollars. One of them may grant you an unusual gift.

Gemini MAY 22 – JUNE 21 After the 12th, all deadlines will be complete, allowing you to focus your energies on watercolor painting and other illustrative activities. Rendezvous with your co-workers, and know they will help with advice to shape your hobbies into something meaningful. Go on and live it up, but do so economically because you won’t have a steady stream of cash. You may envy a rich client’s possessions, but realize that by working with them you will shape your own financial future. Overseas connections will broaden your client base and spark new romance just in time for the sunny months.

Sagittarius NOVEMBER 23 – DECEMBER 22 Let your creative abilities shine, but do not discount your potential for leadership. You can do both. Plan a party at the office to embrace this line of thinking, and impress your boss too. If you feel too attached to work, take time out during the day to surf the web and introduce yourself to new design forums, but understand that others may not be as sociable. Only through tolerance and patience will you help those in need of your visual guidance and design wisdom. Stay optimistic during meetings and conferences, your mojo will lead you to overcome any obstacle that comes in your way, no matter how difficult it seems.
