Word It for April

I’d much rather have it be natural, but artificial will often do. Particularly at night. Especially when you can have loads of fun in creating it, for moods can be changed, environments can be modified and energies can be transformed.

It is something that you can surely miss on entirely in places like New York, more so in the Financial District than by the park—unless of course, you are situated in a penthouse. Then the issue is usually resolved by the simple matter of height. And once indoors it can be impersonal and harsh, soft and subtle or designed with masterful precision.

What is this, you might ask? That can alter my mood, me energy and the space I choose to occupy? None other than Mother Nature’s food: light.

Light is the Word It for April.

With that said, please read the specifications for submittal, where we tell you what kind of file we need, the size requirements*, naming conventions and how to provide us with your desired linkage**.

Word-its will be updated on a weekly basis.

All of the submissions were wonderful interpretations of the word "light," but I was surprised at the number of submissions that define light as illumination and don't explore the aspect of weight, mood, or other definitions (I found only three out of the entire body of submissions). Thanks for all of your incredible WordIts! :o)
