Is there a reason these events are so expensive? I find the costs prohibitive to attending talks like this one and many of the AIGA events. For those of us living in NYC and trying to make it on puny entry-level design salaries, it's frustrating to exist in the space between qualifying for student prices and being able to afford the regular admission.
