[This is 1 of 2 posts of business cards designed by Silnt]

"Bracket," explains Silnt's Felix Ng "is a publication that features everything-in-between — ideas, process and voices overlooked and under-appreciated. The business card we designed, looks deceivingly empty until pushed open to reveal a bracket that frames the information." This is a trick we have probably all wanted to do or be able to pull off. The confident simplicity of this design makes the concept subtly stronger. I can imagine being handed this card in a meeting and not paying a single minute of attention as I close and pop the card.

eleday’s comment is:

good,

while it's probably not an interesting print job, it is a good idea.

NicKLAUS’s comment is:

That has to be the coolest concept for keeping white space prevalent I have ever seen. If it were me I would put the logo of the company on either side of the card just so it doesn't look to a normal person like a blank chunk of card.

Very unique and very cool.

This floats my boat.

kate’s comment is:

i'm curious where you managed to have these produced for 55-cents a piece?

not sure i can source any paper at that price, let alone duplex, not to mention the handwork involved in producing this...

or is that a typo?

felix’s comment is:

hello kate,

it was produced here in singapore.

probably could have been made for a whole lot cheaper in china,
or if it was produced in the thousands.

hope that helps. :)
