The binder is routered bamboo and is bound by a large rubber band. The individual cards are laser cut.

Unfortunately I don’t have more information about this piece, but I had the opportunity to see it at the Type Directors Club traveling exhibit and in a table replete of cool stuff this one stood out. The Trade Gothic routered in the bamboo wood was simply too juicy and the rubber band gave it a nice construction feel. The subtly laser-cut cards that can be joined together looked very mechanical and contemporary. The overall package was definitely impressive and poised to attract high-end costumers which I imagine are the target audience.
