There is an unspoken challenge between graphic designers to see who can create the thickest business card — at least the thickest one made out of paper — and the latest entry in the thick-as-bread category is that of Manchester based designer Antony Wilock, who has glued together two heavy cover weights to form a 540gsm (324 lb) business card. To counter the heft of the card, Antony applied the delicate process of foil stamping to create a simple gray-on-citrine design with his information and a gloss-on-gray treatment for the back. Heavy (and pretty) stuff!

Nice cards! I hear that a lot of people order traditional sized business cards at Overnight Prints and I think that they are in talks of providing other business card sizes and features in the near future. Does anyone have confirmation on this?

Hey Johnny -- that pretty much sounds like a cheap plug for Overnight prints...considering I dont think anyone on this site is getting their work printed there...
