"Endless Bummer" is not only the latest LP from the band Pink Skulls but also the inspiration for the cover, well, covers conceived by Will Work for Good. 1,000 album sleeves were offset printed as single color, in three different fluorescent renditions. They sleeves were left unfinished and then 900 of them were run by hand through a Vandercook letterpress using woodblock type to customize each sleeve with a "bummer."

And what exactly constitutes a bummer? Here is a brief sampling: Senior Drivers, Baby Showers, New Metallica, Infected Piercing, Bromance, Dick in Zipper, and Limp Fries, among many others. I didn't count, but I believe you can see all 900 at Will Work for Good's web site. After the letterpressing all sleeves were glued and folded by hand. The remaining 100 sleeves will be sold for $10 extra and can can be customized with your own bummer, as long as it's under 20 characters — that's 85% shorter than what Twitter allows, but 100% more hardcore.

You can purchase an existing Endless Bummer, or get your own, here.

Beau House’s comment is:

Great concept and execution. The contrast between the crisp, offset MT Grotesque and the less predictable wood type really makes this work.

The amount of effort that must have gone into the production of this edition is mind boggling. Hats off to Will Work for Good.
