Hoverboard technology might be seen soon thanks to a Kickstarter project from a company called Hendo, using oppposing magnetic fields creating a one-inch hover on their board. They also offered the hover engine in a developer’s kit as a reward for the $299 option where you can create your own board or tweak the existing technology.

The Kickstarter campaign has ended, fully funded, but interesting to see what they have brewing.
