Unimark’s Dot Zero magazine is still surprisingly fresh. Don’t miss Michael Bierut’s interview with Massimo Vignelli, who designed and directed all five issues from 1966-1968.

Design firm Dentsu London made this incredible video using stop-motion techniques and long exposures of 3-dimensional objects as they’re built slice by virtual slice on an iPad display.

Something tells me Absolut Vodka will be copying this idea for their next commercial.

A massive archive of 19th century Japanese woodblock prints from University of California, San Francisco — all on health-related themes. Incredibly rich information design is buried in here, including map-like depictions of ailments and different stages of life conditions projected onto the body.
