Mr Cooper is — or will be, as it hasn’t opened for business yet but the owner is testing the product with the public — an ice-cream start-up in London specializing in alcoholic and gourmet flavors for adults. No website is yet available.
[After] presenting a number of initial designs we agreed on the thought of a typographic 'lipstick' mark. This concept seemed to match well with the hedonistic nature of the product. The logo can be rubber stamped directly onto white paper cups and napkins, as if a cheeky kiss had recently been planted (and helping Mr Cooper keep his costs down for the initial launch).

This is so cheeky it hurts. In a good way. This is a concept I could see myself sketching out but then abandoning because of how difficult it would be to pull off or my best effort would look like their initial sketch (see video at the bottom). The logo isn't "pretty" or "good" in the traditional sense but it's an epic solution to a very hard typographic puzzle and, in turn, results in an extremely memorable and idiosyncratic logo. I like the psychedelic aesthetic of the letterforms as it looks kind of raunchy and naughty but the pink on white color palette makes it more sophisticated. Can't wait to see the actual applications of this.
