Kristine Arth is the director of brand at fuseproject, an industrial design and branding firm founded by designer Yves Béhar. During her time at fuseproject, she has built a dedicated brand practice where she leads a team of multidisciplinary designers on global brands such as PayPal, Jawbone, SodaStream and Nivea, as well as startups and non-profits like August, Edyn, SPRING accelerator, Whole World Water and 500 Capp Street. Kristine's hands-on approach ensures a holistic design experience across every branded element, and she believes that hard work and laughter can solve nearly anything.
She started her career in Chicago at Wunderman, Upshot and Leo Burnett. Her experience in advertising & marketing touched on a wide range of deliverables for brands including Miller Coors, Coca-Cola, Burger King, P&G, Applebee's and Microsoft. Kristine has also taught graphic design at Columbia College Chicago and has been a prominent speaker in their design programs. Kristine's work has earned awards from Red Dot, IDA International Design, iF Design, IDSA, SPARK!, IDEA and The Dieline. This past year, she took part in the One Show design jury and, most recently, she lead the rebrand and launch of Rivella, a national Swiss soda.
Kristine holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Columbia College Chicago and studied traditional printmaking, letterpress and bookbinding at Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, Italy. When Kristine isn't working, you can usually find her hiking in the Marin headlands with her pug Rufus.
