Remember I.D. magazine? Killed in 2009 by parent company F+W Media? Well it’s back as an online publication. While in theory that sounds exciting, the site just pulls content from Behance “in several categories, with an emphasis on industrial and product design.” They are also touting the return of the Annual Design Review, once one of the most prestigious industry awards. Now winners “will be showcased on this site and have the opportunity to be featured on the homepage of our popular site with Behance”. Like, woohoo, I guess. Probably best to have left I.D. die in peace and with what little dignity it had left.
