On October 26 and 27 in New York, The Herb Lubalin Study Center
of Design and Typography and Unit Editions are presenting a star-studded — Steve Heller, George Lois, Matteo Bologna, Louise Fili, and more — two-day symposium celebrating the life and work of Herb Lubalin, and to launch the fabulous monograph Herb Lubalin: American Graphic Designer (1918—81). Don’t miss it. Shown: “The Gladiators”, a self-named group of advertising friends (Lubalin seated in middle), photo courtesy of Carl Fischer; and cover of the book.
