The cover cardboard was spray painted in order to create 1000 unique covers. It was then silkcreened and glued onto the cover of the brochure.

Like many cultural institutions, Jugendtheater had a limited budget with which to create a memorable piece for its 30th anniversary. By producing a few pieces by hand, and by alternating the use of a single color versus four colors in the interior signatures Martin Markstein (the designer) was able to deliver a piece that feels heavy and important in one’s hand.
