By combining the use of a linoleum carving and the use of wood type Casey and Grant McGarr managed to create layer upon layer of details that reveal themselves bit by bit. One of the biggest challenges was to lock-up all of the wood type, but once it was done the designers could not be any happier with the result, which also includes several smaller illustrations in various styles.

Can you guess the order in which the inks were placed on the paper?

Inky Lips is cutting edge with their work. I have one of their posters and have attended their shows in Texas. They are true grit experts in the field.
