I have to admit, every now and then I ask myself, “Can we show yet another letterpress business card?” And I am always surprised that the answer is yes. As long as the paper is thick, the impressions deep, the typography and layout sweet, and the photography up close and personal, we will put up as many letterpress business cards as our server can hold.

But I digress. This cartography inspired set of business cards for the Boston-based duo behind Second World, makes great use of letterpress to give their design that additional old-world feel that they are trying to convey. Running one of the letterpress plates without ink gives the cards a nice, sophisticated touch that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Plus, that trimming is tight! And I mean that as physically tight, not, you know, tight.
