Making the case that printed promotions still matter, JPL created this set of postcards highlighting aspirational quotes with unique type treatments by different artists to send out for their 2012 holiday promotional piece. While the cards are meant to be shared, they understand if you’re too inspired to let one go.

Project Description

JPL is an integrated agency specializing in digital, B2B marketing and advertising, media production and internal communications. Each year, the company sends out an innovative holiday promotion to its clients, partners and vendors. The outreach is an extension of the company's creative approach and and reflects its unique creative culture.

This year's promotional piece features a set of five black and white postcards that showcase a well-known, aspirational quote. The postcards—each typographically executed by a different artist on the creative team—function both as standalone postcards or as a set. They are meant to be shared with others, however should the recipient feel too inspired to let one go, we understand.

Production Lesson(s)

Strathmore Writing Ultimate White Wove Pressure Sensitive paper takes a great foil stamp impression.

A clear foil stamp shows up best on a dull cotton paper.

Printed promotions still matter. ”
