29 new 50p coins commemorating the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games went into circulation in the UK last week. The designs were selected from nearly 30,000 entries received by the Royal Mint in a… public competition, of course. Which probably explains why the coins are totally epilepsy safe.
