Opinion
I am going to guess this "Beacon" icon is a modern take on a laurel wreath. If I am wrong, then I have no idea what's going on here. I'm mostly confused by what kind of artifact it's supposed to be in the epically epic epic-some video below. It looks like something the Autobots fight over with the Decepticons. As a logo, it does look kind of regal and sporty, but feels like it's lacking any kind of personality. The type is bland but the "4" is pretty.
