Project Description

STITCH is a curatorial brand founded by Lily Bonesso, Josie Tucker and Amy Webster. In January 2014 they curated an exhibition of 6 artists' work at the Cock 'n' Bull Gallery, London. This info graphic poster acts as a reflective and maps the detail of the entire project over 669 days.

Production Lesson(s)

I have screen printed before but would definitely class myself as an amateur. Having used fluorescent orange ink for the reverse of my digital print, I learnt that the fine lines in my design were very tricky to produce as the ink dries almost instantly. In such a hot screen-printing room, at one point I found myself having to wash the screen between every print!

The digital print, however, was a piece of cake in comparison. There was just quite a lot of compromise in terms of paper stock and paper size. Finding a printer that would print a double sided digital print on such a low gsm, at A1 size proved very difficult!”
