We all know by now, there are “glass half empty” people and there are “the end of the Mayan calendar signals the start of a prosperous new era” people. In accordance with the positive interpretation of the end of the Mayan calendar Hagopian Ink celebrated by sending chocolate to clients, colleagues, friends, and family. Mexican chili chocolate bars were wrapped in specially designed—Mayan influenced—packaging and shipped out as holiday promotions.

Project Description

12.21.12
Is it a date predicting the end of the world as we know it? Or is it a start of a prosperous new era?! Many astrologers and historians have debated this topic according to Mayan calendar predictions. We illustrated this once-in-a-5125-year occasion with a special holiday promotion for all our clients, colleagues, friends and family. The creatively crafted card and Mexican chili chocolates are a reminder that today isn't the end of the world, but a start of something even bigger and better. We hope you agree.

Not for sale, but we would be happy to add you to our mailing list.

Large Chocolates: c/o Chocolate Maya, Santa Barbara CA
Mini Chocolates: ℅ Lake Champlain Chocolates
All cards and packaging labels are custom and unique designs by Hagopian Ink, New York, NY

Production Lesson(s)

If I were to print the chocolate labels over again, I would print on thinner paper so that they would wrap and stick easier.”
