Project Description

Established in spring 2014 in order to offer a different magazine for children, Grilled Cheese highlights the work of illustrators and authors in a format that is both fun and interesting. Bilingual, each issue features a story, an interview, a great activity, a cut-out, games and postcards.

Grilled cheese is produced and edited by L'abricot. It is printed on a risograph, in Montreal.

Production Lesson(s)

It is our third issue, so we are constantly working on improving the registers, which are hard to get with a risograph. With our risograph, we've learned that we should always use the same printing speed and the same feeding settings. It is a really tricky machine.”
