Children’s Museum of Denver’s Never Never Grow Up Birthday Bash was a Peter Pan themed extravaganza. Tick-Tock the Croc, the alarm clock swallowing crocodile, is always in pursuit of Captain Hook, but Hook can always hear him coming because of the tick-tock in Croc’s belly. Paper Plates Press’ playful donation to the Birthday Bash auction reminds attendees to release the pressures of time and connect with their inner children.

Project Description

We had the opportunity to create this mini broadside for the Children's Museum of Denver's Never Never Grow Up Birthday Bash. The theme of their charity auction was centered around Peter Pan and all the adventures that follow. After sitting down and reminiscing about the story, we realized that one of our favorite characters was the tick-tocking crocodile that chased Captain Hook. We liked the analogy of being chased by time, and how, sometimes, we need to be reminded to not lose sight of having fun and reconnecting with our youth. A never-ending lesson.
