Project Description

Halloween holds a special place in our hearts, and every year we send out a print piece to friends, family and clients to celebrate the occasion. We thought being able to tangibly count down the days in October would be a fun time. (Who does not love opening tiny doors?!) For the past two years we created advent calendars to do just that, each with its own theme. In 2011 we helped clean up the monsters of the Gowanus, and this 2012 you're invited to the oddest brownstone on the block for a dreadful dinner. Beware!

Production Lesson(s)

We faced many production challenges. The first year our paper weight was far too heavy, which is something we corrected in production this year. But there's always another obstacle to face and the alignment really gave us issues this time. What we've learned from all of this? We're glad we're designers and not printers. Their job is hard. For real.”
