Brand New Classroom is a division of UnderConsideration and a direct descendant of Brand New. Its purpose is to provide a space where the work of talented students from around the world can be showcased and critiqued. Brand New Classroom focuses on redesigns of real-life brands by students — an exercise that gives them a solid point of departure with a pre-determined audience and brand personality and an existing identity against which their work can be compared. In order to be more revealing and helpful, all entries will be accompanied by the process that led to the final result; we do reserve the right to publish something without process if we believe it is worth it. While the focus will be on identity work, Brand New Classroom will take forays into packaging redesigns of well-known products.
Only the best and most interesting redesigns will be published so, dear students and teachers, consider this a challenge and a raising of the bar.

We look forward to being continually surprised by the potential of this work as students are free to imagine what brands can be without the pressures of the proverbial “Real World.” There will be time for that later.
