JustGiving

Launched in 1999, JustGiving is a London-based for-profit organization that enables charities and individuals to help raise money. We covered a first logo redesign in August of 2009. Earlier this month, a new logo was introduced. No design credit given.

Hanger, Inc.

Established in 1861 — founded by James Edward Hanger, the first documented amputee of the American Civil War — Hanger, Inc. is a provider of orthotic and prosthetic services and products as well as operating hundreds of patient care centers nationwide. A new logo was introduced recently, dubbed the “Empower Mark,” which represents “a beacon of hope for Hanger’s clients, and its multiple colors represent the diversity of Hanger’s units, products, and service offerings.” Press release here. Coroflot

Established in 1998, Coroflot is one of the most active and diverse portfolio-hosting services and job boards. Coroflot hosts over 150,000 portfolios and updates its job listings at a pace that makes it seem there is hope for the unemployed. A new logo was introduced recently. New Image Systems

New Image Systems, formerly known as New Image Creative Web Solutions, is an IT services company in Germany. A new identity was designed by Berlin-based Boymeetsgirl, who explains: “The sophisticated mark — an allegory to an extraordinary solid network — the distinctive console-styled typography, the powerful colors, the linear design system which is derived from the mark, and the use of a very particular kind of paper with a extreme high opacity decodes the new name into a visual identity that stands out from the masses of IT service providers and manifests the ambition to create remarkable software and system-solutions.” Application images below (or after the jump).

Toledo Opera

Established in 1959, Toledo Opera is an opera company based in Toledo, Ohio. A new logo was introduced recently, designed by Melissa Wehrman. The ornamental “T” is a twisted treble clef.

Genome from Yahoo!

Launched this year, after the purchase of Interclick by Yahoo! in 2011, Genome from Yahoo! is “the most complete, custom audience buying solution” that “combines technology, data, premium media and analytics to help advertisers meet their marketing goals.” To be honest, I have no idea what that means. The new identity was designed by New York, NY-based The Nation. More images and video here.

Odessa

Odessa is the third largest city in Ukraine situated on the coast of the Black Sea, which has helped its tourism. Working with the Odessa City Council Moscow-based Art. Lebedev Studio created a new logo and identity around an anchor — part of the city’s flag and coat of arms — that also alludes to a heart. More images, including a riff on the I ♥ NY logo, here.

AUL Corp.

Established in 1990, AUL Corp. (Associates Underwriting Limited) reportedly “founded the national used car service contract industry” and “is the only provider of its type authorized to conduct business in all 50 states.” The new logo was introduced earlier this month, designed by Berkeley, CA-based Project6. Press release includes gems like “The attributes of this new brand include friendliness, approachability, protection, and meaningful relationships. The new AUL logo has a more approachable font, along with a new mark that includes three new colors that represent transparency and protection, important aspects of AUL.”
